GENERAL BUSINESS
The General Business program provides students with the opportunity to broaden
their knowledge of the field of business within
the context of their individual professional and personal objectives. This flexible program allows students to design programs,
under the guidance of an academic advisor,
that meets their academic and career goals
in one or two of the following three areas:
Business Management, Accounting, and Computer
Information Systems.
Graduates of the program will be prepared to enter a wide variety of training
positions in the field of business, and to
follow career paths generally available to
graduates of Associate degree programs.

HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION
The capacity of the United States to deliver quality health care efficiently
to its citizens is both an important component of national productivity, and a hallmark of a civilized society. It involves
a battery of practitioners, with an elaborate network of specialized knowledge, rapidly advancing technologies, techniques, therapies, and management diverse in its organization
and modes of delivery. Medical health service
managers often are responsible for millions of dollars of facilities and equipment and hundreds of employees.
Monroe’s Bachelor of Health Services Administration degree builds on the strengths
of the Medical Administration degree program.
Bachelor’s degree will provide students with
the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary
to seek entry-level management positions in the field of healthcare. The degree will allow interested graduates
to pursue further education in graduate or professional schools.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
The Hospitality Management program prepares graduates to enter a wide range of managerial positions in lodging, food & beverage,
and other related fields. The program emphasizes
communication skills, analytical ability,
and team work thereby ensuring that our graduates are at an advantage when entering this competitive industry. Students are
exposed to various sectors within the field
through internships which not only provide
valuable insights into operations, but also often lead to careers with the host site.
