附属艺术学校
云南艺术学校附属艺术学校（原云南艺术学院附属中学）始建于1961年，是历属云南省教委的全省唯一的一所中等艺术专业学校，主管部门为云南艺术学院。自1984年恢复建校、1986年招生以来，学校已迅速发展成为拥有95名教职工（70多人专人教师、20名副教授）的教职工队伍，在校学生超过1000人。
学校专业设置：音乐、美术、舞蹈三个专业，办学层次分为5年制大专、4年制中专（音乐、美术、舞蹈专业招收初中毕业生）和6年制中专（音乐、舞蹈专业招收小学毕业生），学校的培养目标：为云南艺术学院和全国高等艺术院校输送优秀生源，为云南省培养德艺双馨的中等艺术人才。
艺术学校已形成较为完整的教学体系，拥有一枝具有扎实专业基础的较高水平的教师队伍，他们的表演与创作，先后荣获国家级、省级奖35项，同时为中央美术学院、中国音乐学院、中央民族大学、中央戏剧学院、北京服装学院、北京舞蹈学院、上海音乐学院、云南艺术学院、西南师范大学、四川音乐学院、四川美术学院、云南大学、云南师范大学、云南民族学院等高等院校输送大批优秀毕业生。
在省教育厅的亲切关怀下，在云南艺术学院的直接瓴导下，学校的校风、校貌、校容发生很大变化，办学条件不断完善，教学质量在不断提高，高考专业合格率为100%，升学率为82%以上。

The Art school attached to Yunnan
Arts University (former the High School attached to Yunnan
Arts University)began to accept students in 1961.Coming within
the jurisdiction of Yunnan Education Council it is the only
secondary art school in Yunnan Puovince.Yunnan Arts University
is its direct administration supervisor.since its reconstruction
in 1984 and re-opening in 1986,the art school has developed
rapidly.Now the number of faculty members is 95 including
70 full-time teachers and 20 associate professors.The number
of students is 791.
The Art School has three concentrations:music,visual arts
and dance.The length and the levels of school involve 5-year
college level,4-year secondary level (The Departments of Music,Visual
Arts and Dance admit students who have finished junior high
school),and 6-year secondary level (the Music Department and
the Dance Department admit students who have finished elementary
school).The objective of the Art School is to provide excellent
students to Yunnan Arts University and China,s art colleges,and
to train for Yunnan Province intermediate -level art talents
who have also developed well morally.
The Art School has developed a complete teaching system
with a highly qualified staff.The faculty members have won
35 awards at the state and the province levels.Agreat many
of their students have been admitted to China,s first-rate
universities and colleges,such as the Central Academy fo Visual
Arts,China Conservatory of Music,the Central University for
Minority Nationalities,the Central Theatre College,Beijing
Clothing College,Beijing Movies College,Beijing Dance College,Shanghai
Conservatory of Music,Shanghai Academy of Visual Arts, the
Southwest Normal University,Sichuan Conservatory of Music,Sichuan
Academy of Visual Arts,Yunnan University,Yunnan Normal University,Yunnan
Institute for Minority Nationalities and Yunnan Arts University.
Thanks to the concern of Yunnan Education Council and the
direct leadership of Yunnan Arts University,the Art School
has caused a distinct improvement in school spirit,school

looks, teaching conditions and teaching quality.The pass rate
in the art tests for art colleges is 100%,and 82% of the graduates
are accepted by institutions of higher education.
