电影电视艺术系
2001年建立的电影电视艺术系，是云南艺术学院最为年轻的系。有专兼职教授近10人，副教授10余人。现设广播电视编导、摄影、导演三个本科专业。
建系之初，影视系就将教育目标定位在培养一流的影视制作人才上。为此，特聘我国著名的电影教育家、理论家、翻译家周传基教授来系主持教学工作。周先生不但理论上独树一帜，而且有着丰富的教学经验和高效的教学方法，他主张学生要多动手、勤实践，无论是思维方式还是制作技巧的训练，都建立在实践、实证的基础上。
电影电视艺术系还聘请了原上海电影制片厂录音、放映、剪辑车间主任，一级录音师、中国电影录音协会副理事长、两次金鸡奖最佳录音得主冯德耀先生主持录音教学；聘请原北京电影学院摄影系著名教授刘永泗先生主持摄影教学。电影电视艺术系主任宋杰教授集创作、教学、理论研究于一身，出版了影视理论专著《视听语言：影像与声音》，撰写了四十多篇论文，选编导了百余部（集）电影、电视、戏剧作品，其作品多次获国家级、省部级奖。担任《视听语言》、《影片论解与分析》、《电视节目制作》《影视导演创作》等课程的教学工作。
为了保证影视系教学工作的顺利进行，学院拨专款购买了必要的影视教学设备。目前，影视系拥有摄像机五套，非线性编辑-八套，演播室一个，剪辑工作室两个，并有相对完善的照明、录音等教学设备。
Movie
&TV Department
Established in 2001,the Movie
and TV Department is the youngest department in Yunnan Art
University.It has nearly 10 full-time and part-time professors,and
10 associate professors.The three concentrations are radio
and TV editing,photographing and directing.
The objective of the Department is to produce first-class
filmmakers,and TV personnel.To attain this objective ,the
Department invited Prof.Zhou Chuanji,a well-known movie educator,theorist
and translator,to take charge of the teaching work.Mr. Zhou
has developed from his rich teaching experience not only his
original theories.but also effective and efficient teaching
methods as well.He advocates that students should do more
practice and that the mode of thinking and the techniques
of filmmaking should be based on practice and substantial
evidence.
The Movie & TV Department also invited Mr.Feng Deyao
to take care of the recording teaching.Mr.Feng used to be
in charge of the recording,projecting and editing at Shanghai
Film Studio.He is a first-grade recording master,vice-chairman
of the executive council of China Film Recording Association,and
twice winner of the best recording at the Golden Rooster Awards
Ceremony.The photography teaching group is led by Mr.Liu Yongsi,a
famous professor from the Photography Department of Beijing
Film College.Professor Song Jie is dean of the Movie &
TV Department.He spares no pains to do well in the three major
tasks:script writing,teaching and theory researching.He has
published Audio-Visual Languages:Images and Sound,a book about
the theory of film and TV,wrote more than 40 papers and directed
over 100 films,TV series and plays,which have won many awards
at the state and the province levels.He teaches the following
courses as audio-visual languages,the appreciation and analysis
of films,the making of TV programs,and movie and TV directing
and writing.
Yunnan Arts University has appropriated money for the purchase
of the teaching equipment so that the teaching worl of the
Movie & TV Department is goingsmoothly.Now the Department
has five sets of cameras,eight non-linear editing machines,one
acting studio, two editing studios,some lighting and recording
equipment and other teaching facilities.
