A second South Wales valleys school has been closed after health officials found new cases of the E.coli bug among pupils.
Abercynon Infant School, in Rhondda Cynon Taf, was previously untouched by the E.coli outbreak which has affected 42 schools and claimed one life.
Health officials refused to say how many pupils have been affected or what their condition is. Now all 64 pupils at the infant school are to be tested at home.
Last month five-year-old Mason Jones, from Deri, near Bargoed, in the Rhymney Valley, died in hospital after contracting the 0157 strain of E.coli.
Health officials stressed that the latest closure was a precautionary measure taken in what they described as "exceptional circumstances".
But anxious parents have been invited to a private question and answer session at the school with the Outbreak Control Team (OCT) over the weekend.
An OCT spokesman said: "Abercynon Infants School has been given the enhanced cleaning and disinfection that is given to all schools where someone with symptoms compatible with E.coli have been identified.
"Teachers will be at the school on Monday as normal. Pupils will be able to return as their tests show they are clear."
The latest enforced closure of a school is the second since the outbreak began in September. Last month Glenboi Primary School, in Rhondda, closed for several days while officials tested children.
A South Wales Police investigation into the outbreak, launched after the death of Mason Jones, is continuing.
