世界第一大保险公司、美国国际集团前首席执行官莫利斯·格林伯格的名字在保险业如雷贯耳。离任后的格林伯格最近决定要写一本书，而他的写作角度也有别于他人，他以自己爱犬的视角回顾了以往的经历。

    据路透社10月26日报道，格林伯格的这本新书名叫《雪球眼里的世界》。书中以格林伯格的爱犬雪球的口吻来讲述他的人生故事。格林伯格说：“雪球会在书中告诉大家一些趣事，如我在莫斯科的一次私人聚会上发生的事情；那次聚会的主人并不知道我把它藏在了餐桌下，但当雪球看见有名的歌星最终还是兴奋地叫出声来后被人发现了。”格林伯格还说：”我带雪球去了世界各地，每到一处它都没有离开过我的视线。我带它去了中国，还参加了那里的国宴。”

    美国国际集团员工透露，格林伯格和他的爱犬的确形影不离，他专机上的卫生间除了他本人、他的夫人和雪球专用外，其他任何人都不能使用。

    《雪球眼里的世界》讲述的故事主要涉及到忠诚和心理学。在书中，人们看到一位老人将他毕生的精力奉献给了事业，但最后却在种种压力下被迫离任。只有他的爱犬忠诚地陪伴着它的主人。

    年近八旬的格林伯格曾经被业内人士一致公认为是美国国际集团不可或缺的终生领袖，分析家们经常会说：“没有格林伯格的AIG是不可想象的。”1967年，格林伯格代替公司创始人斯塔尔成为首席执行官，在他执掌公司的37年里，美国国际集团凭借着创新和努力从一个小公司逐步发展为在130个国家雇用了9.2万名员工、资产高达1660亿美元的世界第3大跨国金融集团。但今年5月，美国国际集团卷入了经济丑闻，身陷种种尴尬境地的格林伯格最终被迫离任。

    Maurice "Hank" Greenberg, who was ousted as head of insurance company American International Group in May, is thinking about writing a book. With a difference.

    "Seeing the World Through Snowball's Eyes" would tell Greenberg's story from the perspective of his Maltese, Greenberg told New York Post columnist Cindy Adams.

    Snowball may have a story to tell. At a private dinner in Moscow, the guests didn't know the dog was hidden under the table until she started barking at some singers, Greenberg said.

    "I take her everywhere. In China, she never left my sight. I even took her to a state dinner," Greenberg told Adams, who wrote a book about her Yorkie, Jazzy.

    AIG executives confirmed that Greenberg and the dog were inseparable, saying the bathroom on Greenberg's jet was reserved for Greenberg, his wife and Snowball, while everyone else used the pilot's bathroom.

    Ultimately, the story may be about loyalty, psychologist Joyce Brothers told Reuters. Greenberg was forced out of AIG, which he had built into the largest insurer in the world, after New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer investigated accounting irregularities at the firm.
