英国有关法律专家近日表示，三分之二的英国成年人迄今没有立过任何遗嘱，此举有可能使得他们未来的遗产受益人处于某种危险处境之中。

    据英国《每日邮报》10月24日报道，这项涉及对象为2122人的调查是由英国法律图书出版社委托YouGov市场调查公司进行的。该出版社特地向那些未婚情侣提出了警告，如果没有遗嘱的话，在一方去世的情况下，另一方可能什么也得不到。而在缺乏有效遗嘱的情况下，在世的丈夫或妻子所得到的遗产会远远少于其故去配偶的本意。从那些被访者的回答来看，不立遗嘱的最常见原因是他们觉得自己还很年轻且不认为“这玩意儿”真的会在不远的将来派上用场。另有十分之一的人表示，仅仅是产生写下人生最后愿望和遗嘱这种想法都会使他们感到很不舒服。

    从调查结果来看，那些年龄最小的被访者是最不可能立下遗嘱的群体，当然，这一点也早就在调查者意料之中。在18岁到29岁年龄段的被访者中，92％的人要么表示自己还太小以至于根本不需要立什么遗嘱，要么就认为自己短时间内还用不上那东西。在那些年龄处于30岁到50岁之间的人中，有超过三分之二的人（68％）承认自己仍未立遗嘱。而在年龄大于50岁的群体中，这一比例则为十分之一。

    在被访者中，还有四分之一的人认为，由于自己并没有足够多的金钱和财产，所以去立遗嘱是一件不划算的事情。在该出版社看来，产生这种想法的原因在于这些人往往低估了自己家庭住房的价值。声称自己没有时间去写遗嘱的人所占比例为五分之一，另有12％的人因嫌其花费太多而将此事一拖再拖。

    Two-thirds of adults have not made a will, leaving their would-be beneficiaries in possible peril, according to legal experts.

    The most common reasons given were that respondents felt too young and did not expect to need one in the near future.

    One in 10 people questioned felt uncomfortable just thinking about writing a last will and testament.

    Lawpack Publishing, which commissioned the YouGov survey of 2,122 adults, warned that unmarried partners could be left with nothing in the absence of a will.

    And surviving husbands and wives can get far less than their spouse intended if no valid will is left.

    Unsurprisingly, the youngest interviewees were the least likely to have made a will. Of the 18 to 29-year-olds questioned, 92% said they were too young to make a will or believed they wouldn't need one in the near future. More than two-thirds (68%) of 30 to 50 year olds and one-third of over-50s admitted they hadn't made a will.

    A quarter of respondents believed it was not worth doing so because they did not have enough money or possessions.

    This could be because they underestimate the value of their homes, Lawpack said.

    One-fifth of respondents said they didn't have time to write a will, while 12% were put off doing so by the cost.
